Un año después de la muerte de George Harrison, su viuda, Olivia Harrison, organizó, el 29 de noviembre de 2002, un concierto de homenaje junto a Eric Clapton, en el que participaron, entre otros, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Billy Preston, Ravi Shankar, Jools Holland y Monty Python.
“Concert for George” se presenta en un doble disco Blu Ray que ofrece el concierto más entrevistas, ensayos e imágenes fuera del escenario. El segundo disco incluye una pieza inédita titulada ‘Drummers’, interpretada por Ringo Starr, Jim Keltner y Ray Cooper.
